Dear colleagues, dear friends,

One of the many challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic has been the widespread abandonment of professional conferences and networking events, including our Joint Conference that was planned for April, 2020.

After such a long period of isolation, it’s great to be able to connect again with international colleagues, to reconnect  with old friends, and make new ones

On behalf of the Organizing Committee it is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in The 2^nd PSU-UNS Joint Conference on Medical Science and Technology 2023 (JCMST 2023) from 11 to 13 October , 2023 in Novi Sad, Serbia, organized by Faculty of Medicine of the University of Novi Sad and the University Prince of Songkla, Hat Yai, Thailand.

The Conference intends to comprehensively cover various aspects of modern medical science and to favor fruitful exchange of knowledge and experience. We therefore expect your active involvement as clinicians and researchers, and hope that you will contribute to the Scientific Program by submitting abstracts for oral and poster presentations.

We shall do our best to use this opportunity for professional and scientific work and hope that you will join us for what promises to be a stimulating professional and educational experience.

Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia and located in the southern part of Europe, in Serbia, about 80 km north-west from Belgrade and it lies on the left bank of the river Danube. Novi Sad is a University city, hospitable and open-hearted to all of its visitors, a city one gets to know and love easily.

Abstract Instructions

Instructions for writing and submitting structured abstracts

NOTE: The abstracts will be reviewed and selected for oral or poster presentation by the organizer

• Abstracts should be written according to the below structure including the following headings: introduction, materials and methods, results and conclusion (s)
• abstracts should be written in English
• abstracts font: Arial12 pts
• abstract headlines should be capitalized Arial14 pts
• author's and co-author's name and surname without titles
• the name of the author who will be presenting has to be underlined
• institution, city and country of author and co-authors
• author's e-mail address
• abstract should contain introduction, methods, results and conclusion
• abstract length: up to 300 words
• linguistic accuracy is the responsibility of the author
• an individual may be first author for not more than two abstracts; co-authorship of additional abstracts is permitted
• accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts

NOTE: By submitting your abstract, you are acknowledging that the Organizing Committee has the right to publish it in the Book of Abstracts for the Conference participants and to distribute it in the same format to other interested people after the Conference. If you have any reservation on any of these points, please contact us before you make your submission.

Who Should Attend

Basic scientists, practicing physicians and clinical researchers, nurses, physiotherapists and pharmacists involved in the diagnosis and treatment of internal, surgical, gynecological, neurological, psychiatric disorders and diseases, radiologists, pediatricians, otorhinolaryngologists, pathologists, nutritionists, geneticists, public health specialists, general practitioners, and all other healthcare professionals as well as PhD students in relevant scientific fields.

Official Language

The Conference language will be English with no translation facilities available.
